In-stock balance

In-stock balance page has 2 main functions:
It’s a report that shows you how many items there are in the selected department.
It’s an instrument that let you set the minimum in-stock balance (the Evaluation column).

The report

The minimum in-stock balance is the amount of products in the department, according to which ERPHY can evaluate the remaining goods for this department. The result of this evaluation you can see in the Evaluation column.

Let’s see what is the main information is presented in the table:

Name column displays the product's name

Quantity column displays the quantity of the product in the selected Department, or in all available departments, if specific department is not selected.

Min. in-stock balance column shows the minimum in-stock balance in the selected Department or in all available departments, if the department is not selected. The values of this column can be:

  • Numeric - shows the minimum in-stock balance of product in the selected Department or, if the Department field value is All available departments - in all available departments (if the minimum in-stock balance is the same for all departments)
  • Various - can be displayed only if in the Department field set the All available departments value. That means the minimum in-stock balances are different in different Departments.
  • Not set - the minimum in-stock balance is not set in any department.

Evaluation column - here ERPHY shows the grade of product amount on a 3-point scale:

  • Enough - In the selected department the amount of products is above the minimum in-stock balance. If Department's field value selected as All available departments - In one or all presented departments thet available to you the amount of products is above the minimum in-stock balance.
  • Few - In the selected department the amount of products that is equivalent to or less than the minimum in-stock balance, but more than 0. If Department's field value selected as All available departments - In one or all presented departments thet available to you the amount of products that is equivalent to or less than the minimum in-stock balance, but more than 0.
  • Not available - In the selected department the amount of products in selected department equals 0. If Department's field value selected as All available departments - In one or all presented departments thet available to you the product is not available

The setting of a minimum in-stock balance

You can set the minimum in-stock balance of the product as a separate value for each department, or identical value for all departments.

  1. Select the department for which you want to set the minimum in-stock balance. If you want to set this balance for all departments - then select All available departments.
  2. Select one or more products
  3. Click Set the minimum in-stock balance button
  4. In the open dialog input the value of the minimum in-stock balance, and click Save.

You can also use a filter to see only the information you need. For example, only unavailable products. To see the filter options click on the Filter button and check the options that you need.
